XXVI Cabueñes International Youth Meetings come back to  Laboral, the place where they were created.

This year, more then ever, we want Cabueñes to be yours. Come, take part, make suggestions , learn, share and ….enjoy!!!!!!

To achieve the best results, Gijón City Council,  the Asturian Institute of Youth of the Principality of Asturias, Youth Councils of Gijón, Asturias and Spain; FEMP ( Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces )  and Injuve are working jointly.

MEETING STRUCTURE

2008 Cabueñes Meetings aims at thinking deeply about different thematic sections, with training activities structured in Meetings and Practical Workshops.

The following contents will be addressed in a transversal way :

• TIC and  Information Technology ( IT )
• Gender perspective
• 2008 International Year of Planet Earth/ European Year of Intercultural Dialogue

› Meetings

The aim of these spaces is to address the most relevant theoretical aspects and the know-how innovative experiences in each thematic section, provoking thought  and debate among the participants from their specific experience linked to the issues dealt with.

› Workshops

16 workshops, of completely practical aspect, linked to the essential role of IT in the several aspects of the daily life of young people. They are organized into four areas: GETTING INFORMED, COMMUNICATING, GETTING A JOB, and DARING TO.
 
These workshops are coordinated by CTIC Foundation and will be delivered by professionals linked to these themes and with a dynamic methodology.

Timetables are as follows:

• MEETING participants: afternoons 16:00 to 18:00 hrs
• General public : from  10:00 to  12:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 hrs.
